i’ve been amazingly busy in the past few days–mostly with work. but i figured i should make some attempt to post something timely since i’m getting a good deal of hits from people searching for funny gore pictures. no funny gore pictures today, but have you heard that gore was nominated for president of harvard university? yes, he went to harvard, but he has no real, germane qualifications for the job. i suppose someone might have thought it was a nice gesture, but the way i see it, it’s just something else for gore to lose at. i hope gore will find something fulfilling to do in the near future since he is not independently wealthy like the dubya.

if you haven’t already, you should check out live365.com and shoutcast.com. there are some people out there who are netcasting some very cool music. here’s a live365 stream that i like called share the groove. they play a lot of jammin’ stuff like medeski, martin, and wood, and charlie hunter. now if the recording industry would only stop forcing the government to enact ridiculous laws governing which music can and can’t be streamed. read this partial list of rules to see for yourself how inane the laws are.

at work, we find that live365 streams work well while coding, xp style. we tried spinner, but thought it sucked.

oh yeah, the new google toolbar rocks! you heard it here first. unfortunately, it only runs on windows and only in interent explorer v.5.0 or later.
