the new york times is reporting that ford is discontinuing the excursion. all i can say is that it’s about time. i’m sick of seeing people drive those land yachts around the flat, paved roads that are the midwest. an acquaintance of mine once likened the midwest to a pool table: flat and green. to make matters worse, people who drive excursions seem to drive the 10 mile per gallon behemoth alone.
