The New York Times Magazine has published their Second Annual Year in Ideas. It includes interesting revelations such as the fact that photographic proof is now available that Geri Halliwell has had need of a plunger lately. Also, enterprising criminals are apparently able to train themselves to fool polygraph machines by taking Valium and performing “obscure muscular acrobatics involving their sphincters.”
