Autocrossing fun
I went autocrossing for the first time ever at an event sponsored by the Audi Car Club Chicagoland Chapter (ACCCC). I guess I did pretty well considering it was my first time out and that the competition was mostly heavily modified S4′s and TT’s. I was also hobbled by my IS300′s infernal Vehicle Skid Control (VSC). Apparently, it’s almost impossible to disable without disabling the anti-lock braking system. So, I wasn’t quite able to duplicate this performance [avi] by Luke the “drifter extraordinaire” in his 300ZX twin turbo. Yeah, I don’t have twin turbos either. I don’t even have a single turbo.
