Gigapixel

Max Lyons has created a 1 gigapixel digital photo of the Bryce Canyon. The exact dimensions of the image are 40,784 x 26,800 pixels–approximately 1.09 billions pixels! It was created by stitching 196 images together. It’s pretty impressive. I’d like to know what kind of rig he used to take the pictures. He doesn’t get into much detail about the particular rig he used to take the Bryce Canyon photo on his website.
