Bye Ricky
The proprietors of the three Chicago area Hi Ricky restaurants have closed all three locations. They decided to cash out on the real estate. It’s kind of sad. I’ll miss them. That will put a slight crimp on good affordable lunches in the West Loop. I guess there are a few options left. Here’s a sampling of some not quite as nice, but relatively inexpensive, places where my co-workers and I used to get lunch at in the West Loop: Holiday, the White Hen Pantry, Fast Tracks, the Lake and Union Grill (affectionately known as the LUG or Fast Tracks II) and a few others.
