Ira Glass getting hitched

Ira Glass, of this This American Life fame, is getting married. That in itself isn’t that remarkable. However, this news is accompanied by an interesting interview with Glass. Did you know he is 46? He sounds and looks much younger. I love that he’s a “huge fan of The OC.” and the Gilmore Girls. Although, I’m not sure how to take his admission that “A lot of my TV tastes come from my fiancee, Anaheed, who is basically a middle-aged woman with the taste of a 14-year-old girl.” Does this mean I have the taste of a 14-year-old girl?

    Hey Brian,

    14-year-old girls are probably the quintessential purveyors of pop culture, so maybe it’s a gift. Just watch your cell phone usage and credit card bills!
