I drove past what remains of the Dexter Building at 630 S. Wabash, this afternoon. The block surrounding the building was still closed to traffic. Firefighters were spraying the building down from the front and the back.
The Dexter Building was designed by Adler and Sullivan, built in 1887, and designated as a landmark in 1996. [...]

Accounts differ on exactly what happened, but a fan got a little too close for comfort at a recent Wilco show when he managed to get on stage and attempted to kiss Jeff Tweedy.
