I love the article because it was obviously written by a true fan.

A few posts ago I was lamenting the fact that This American Life, as well as most of the programs on Chicago Public Radio, only make their streaming audio available in the RealMedia format. Well, I’m not the only one who is annoyed with RealNetworks. The guys over at Car Talk have dumped RealMedia in favor of Windows Media. I suppose it is the lesser of two evils. However, I wish they would have went with QuickTime or streaming MPEG 3 or 4. Although, I can understand if they wanted to be able to enforce some kind of DRM—which may be difficult to do with the current version of QuickTime, although I could be wrong about that. What I do know is that the OS X version of Windows Media Player sucks.

There have long been rumors of a Lexus IS430. However, until now, that’s all there have been, rumors. Well, the good news is that such a beast exists. The bad news is that Lexus won’t be selling you one anytime soon. That’s because the only “IS430” known to be in existence was created by Rod Millen. The IS430 is a heavily modified IS300 with a Lexus 4.3 liter V-8 GS430 engine in it.

Pretty boy actor turned racer, Jason Priestly, showcases Rod and his IS430 in an upcoming episode of his new show, Rides on TLC. Priestly really is serious about racing. He broke his back some time ago in a nasty racing accident.
